To become a member of the SBTA you start by joining the California Teachers Association (CTA). By joining the CTA you automatically become a member of the SBTA and receive membership benefits from the CTA and the National Education Association (NEA).
We have the right to negotiate salaries, benefits, healthcare, and working conditions through collective bargaining representing more than 800 members. By joining you are also part of a state and nationwide movement of educators, the CTA and NEA. Strength in unity.
